Beginning with 2016 and throughout the year Cluj IT will take over the coordination of activity for the ICT clusters network in the Balkan and Black Sea region (Balkan and Black Sea ICT Network). The Network was founded by Cluj IT in partnership with other similar organizations in October of 2014 with the aim of building sustainable collaborations between the main actors from countries which establish the Balkan and Black Sea macro-region. The main objectives for 2016 are: consolidating this entity by identifying concrete opportunities for collaboration among the network members and also mapping business and innovation competences which exist in the macro-region. This initiative represents one component of the efforts made to internationalize the local IT industry, efforts which are constantly undertaken by Cluj IT.
