The 2025 edition of Cluj IT Cluster’s flagship conference, Cluj Innovation Days (May 29–30), marked a significant milestone in the event’s history. For the first time, an onsite, dedicated B2B matchmaking session was held on May 30, bringing together nearly 100 national and international experts from the MedTech sector, and not only.
Organized under the auspices of the Enterprise Europe Network, where Cluj IT Cluster has been an internationalization contact point since 2022, the matchmaking event enabled 99 participants to engage in pre-arranged, one-on-one meetings with potential collaborators, clients, and strategic partners. These were booked in advance through the b2match platform, a widely recognized tool that simplifies and streamlines the meeting scheduling process for international events.
Over 80 meetings took place in the Foyer of Auditorium Maximum at “Babeș-Bolyai” University in Cluj-Napoca, offering a vibrant setting for experience exchanges.

Strategic Value for Participants
The matchmaking event delivered substantial benefits to attendees, including targeted networking with MedTech professionals, the expansion of business connections across sectors, and the opportunity to exchange knowledge through case studies and success stories. It also served as an efficient channel to enhance brand visibility with minimal resource investment, while encouraging exploration of innovation and research partnerships. Beyond the professional advantages, the event provided a dynamic and enjoyable environment.
Cluj Innovation Days 2025 and Enterprise Europe Network
Reaching its 13th edition in 2025, Cluj Innovation Days reaffirmed its role as one of Cluj-Napoca’s main innovation forums, emphasizing the transformative potential of MedTech in driving sustainable development, technological progress, and ethical healthcare solutions. This year’s conference was co-organized with “Babeș-Bolyai” University and supported by key European initiatives, including the I3HIES project and Enterprise Europe Network through the BISNET Transylvania project.
BISNET Transylvania, a consortium of seven organizations from Romania’s Central and Northwest regions, is funded by the European Commission through the COSME Programme. It aims to enhance SME competitiveness by delivering innovation and business support services as part of the Enterprise Europe Network.
