Romanian Start-up in focus: InViso – Bringing AI-Powered Precision to Oncology Imaging

September 4th 2025

InViso is a Romanian startup based in Bucharest and a  participant in the second Cohort of the DDAccelerator program, focused on transforming oncology workflows. The company is tackling a major bottleneck in radiotherapy planning: the time-consuming manual segmentation of thoracic organs from CT scans, a process that can take a clinician nearly an hour per patient.

InViso’s AI-powered platform automates this critical task, reducing the required time to mere minutes. By combining speed, accuracy, and accessibility, InViso aims to improve hospital efficiency, increase patient throughput, reduce clinician workload, and ultimately raise the standard of care, particularly in underfunded systems. The company plans to evolve its platform into a modular solution for broader oncology imaging support, including tumor tracking and treatment planning.
