Press Note: 3

On August 29-30, Cluj-Napoca hosted the latest Consortium Meeting of the ReCentre Eurocluster. Representatives from Distretto Interni e Design (Italy), AMBIT Furnishing Cluster (Spain), and Green Synergy Cluster gathered at the Cluj IT Cluster’s operational office for in-depth discussions on project implementation and the current status of projects selected for direct funding.

Innovation Call
Under the Eurocluster Project, 20 projects were selected through the Innovation Call. While 9 of these projects have completed their implementation phase, the consortium is now focused on finalizing the remaining 11 by the end of 2024.

More than €700,000 has already been distributed to 41 SMEs across 7 countries for their innovation projects. Final payments will be made following the submission of reports on implementation progress and KPI achievements.

Vouchers for Internationalization
The call for internationalization has been reopened, offering eligible SMEs the chance to apply for support in expanding their reach to Mexico and/or Chile. Selected companies will receive assistance in establishing partnerships in one or both markets, along with a €250 voucher to support their internationalization efforts.

European SMEs in furniture & living, IT or green/circular economy are invited to send in their application by September 12,17:00 h CET, via the Application Form

Re-Centre’s mission is supporting SMEs from 3 sectors – furniture, interiors, IT and energy – in developing new business models and innovation projects for competitiveness and resilience.
